Permissions Post! (and also plotting I guess that works too)
Hey guys!
One of Fury's superpowers is that the entirety of the 616 Universe SHIELD database is now located in his head. What this means is that if your character has dealings with SHIELD in 616, or a reason for SHIELD to be stalking them, he knows about it. However, that is a ton of information, and Nick isn't someone who is normally accustomed to dealing with superhumanly brainy things like that (he's pretty good, just not that good), so it's entirely possible that he won't be able to process anything. This serves two purposes! First, it makes for really boring play if he immediately knows everything SHIELD knows about somebody right off the bat. Second, the last thing I want to do is infomode anybody, or otherwise make them feel uncomfortable.
As such, if your character appears in 616, or has a 616 counterpart let me know here what SHIELD knows about them/what you want SHIELD to know about them. Keep in mind, his experience and powers are limited to 616, so, for example, what he knows about Jessica Drew will be limited to the adult who appears in that universe, as opposed to the teenager we all know and love from the Ultimates line. (I'm personally excited for mistaken identity shenanigans, I won't lie.)
Alternately, if you want to opt out entirely, that is totally cool, too. Just let me know.
In either case, I will never use this without contacting the player beforehand. If you have any questions, or want to plot with Fury in particular reference to this ability, you can contact me here or via plurk @ undeadyami.
Thanks!
